WHAT WE BELIEVE
- We Believe…
That the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is the Inspired Word of God and is the supreme and final authority in faith and life. As given under God’s Inspiration, it is without error.
In one God, eternally existing in three Persons – Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
That Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit of and born of the virgin Mary and that He is true God and true Man and is the only sufficient mediator between God and man.
In the personality of the Holy Spirit and that His ministry is to reveal Christ to men in the regeneration and sanctification of their souls and is to be the teacher and provider of gifts to equip us for service.
That man was created in the image of God and that he sinned and, thereby, incurred spiritual death.
In the substitionary death of the Lord Jesus Christ for our sins, in the resurrection of His body, His ascension into Heaven, and His personal, visible future return to the earth; and that salvation is received only through personal faith in Him.
That baptism is a reenactment of Romans 6:4 “being buried with Christ in baptism” in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit setting forth the essential facts in the previous experience of the believers death to sin, burial of old life, and resurrection to newness of life.
That the Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of the Lord’s death until He returns.
That the New Testament Church is a body of believers, associated for worship and fellowship, actively and redemptively involved in its servant role whereby it seeks to proclaim the gospel in word validated by deeds; to train and disciple church members by Christian education as led by the Holy Spirit.

WHAT WE WANT
Our desire is to be used by God to bring many youth to believe in Jesus (Acts 16:31), belong to Jesus (John 10:14) and become like Jesus (Romans 8:29). We hope that God may use us to proclaim the incomparable worth of Jesus Christ to the world He made (Phillipians 3:7-8).
WHAT WE DO
We Preach- Well, you won’t preach, but our pastors will. If you come to Core, you will hear preaching from the Bible. To preach is to proclaim. We proclaim Jesus as He is found in the Bible so people believe in, belong to and become like Him. Paul said it well, “(Jesus) is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ” (Colossians 1:28).
We Sing – Christians sing together, a lot. Why do we sing? Well, first off, the Bible tells us too: “Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord” (Ephesians 5:19). The second reason why we sing is because we really can’t help it; we have something so good in Jesus we sing about it.
We Pray – Prayer is us speaking to Jesus and we desire to do this alone and together.
We Connect – Jesus does not save us so we may be alone, but He saves us into God’s family. Therefore, at Core, we make intentional efforts to connect with other Christians so we may bless and be blessed by others.
